About

Megan’s career working on set and in documentary photography has spanned three decades.

She approaches her subjects looking for their truth, and the reality in which they live and tell their story. Sometimes this means sitting quietly with them. Other times, it may just be capturing a fleeting moment as they go on about their lives, unnoticed. Her work is focused on our constantly evolving culture, and how changes are sometimes happening at unconceivable rates. This draw also leads her to explore cultures that can seem as if they are lost in time, and never change at all.

Megan was classically trained as Cinematographer, so working on set in Stills is like a second home.   Other projects when she is off set, are vast.   She is currently editing her  long-term book project, titled “The End of the Farm”. This book focuses on the disintegration of our American farming system and what happens to one man, her father, when substance abuse begins to infiltrate his already failing livelihood.

She currently lives and works in Venice Beach, California.
